Xbox Companion App Party Mic Sensitivity and Individual Volume Control

Hey, I've been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2019 with my friends who still play on Xbox. Normally i don't use the Xbox companion app for 2 reasons. There isn't anyone i can talk to and play with while i'm on PC, and there is no way for me to change my
mic settings within the Companion App. The whole reason for ME being in a party with my friends on Xbox is so they can hear the game and the party, with there headphone, so i don't have to hear it coming from there speakers if we were to use an app like discord.
However there is still a losing team with whatever app i pick. Either my friends cant hear their game because we are using discord on there phone or PC, or its a case of me not being able to hear my game because i cant turn down my friends volume on my end.

Here is a list of the changes that would help

-Make it so each person can change the volume of every other person in the party

-Make it so i can change my mic sensitivity WITHIN THE XBOX APP so i don't have to change it through window (if i have to change it through windows i have to reset it anytime i want to play something that isn't in the stone age and already has a in app sensitivity
    control)

or discord can get voice channel support and the whole party system will become obsolete.

The Companion App has come a long way but it can still be better i am grateful for what it is now but this is the most reasonable update for the app to maintain relevance now that cross platform has a larger audience and will likely become a standard in
    most games in the future.

    :)

  2. Mic does not work in party while using a controller on pc

Thats what I'm doing.. the only thing I am doing different from playing keyboard/mouse is the controller itself. but when i plug it in every setting on the pc changes to controller mic. Even though the controller has no mic. So I go back through all the
pc settings and xbox companion settings and change it back but the xbox game bar will not let me use the usb mic anymore. I have to unplug the controller and reset the pc to be able to use my mic again. when I start a party in the companion app it says my
mic is working , but if i am in a party on that app for some reason I'm not in a party on the game bar... so if i start a party on the game bar the mic still doesn't work..
  3. Mic sensitivity

is it your mic that is too loud or is it other people you are in a party with?

to adjust the sensitivity of the mic, press the Xbox button on the controller then press RB 3 times to get to the System tab and select Audio from the options there.

this will allow you to turn down mic monitoring so your mic is less sensitive.

if it is other people in your party who have their mics too sensitive then they will have to adjust the mic monitoring on their Xbox

  4. Xbox headset echo

have you tried turning down mic sensitivity and party chat volume in the audio settings?

it's worth trying if you haven't already as that is the cause of most echo in headsets.

  5. What would you like to see added to Xbox 2020?

I love that you can change the volume of party chat, game volume and spotify. That part I would lile a little extra added to is being able to adjust volume of individual party members in party chat. Some people have very quite mics or jsut speak louder
the others so would be great to tweak it when in a party.
  6. Mic Echo on Xbox One

it depends who is hearing the echo.

if you are hearing an echo then it is most likely that someone else in your party has their mic gain too high and has party chat through their TV or too loud in their headphones. check whose name shows when you hear the echo.

they would need to turn down party chat volume and/or change their mic sensitivity
